Pros +
- The location of this place for that price is unbeatable. The facilities are new, modern and super clean which is what I liked the most. Comfortable, close to everything. Definitely recommend.
- Location
- I booked a private room with my partner and was surprised at how spacious the room was. We had a shared bathroom but our own sink in the room and enough room for a quick yoga session or some pushups. This was our second time in Tokyo and we loved the location.
Cons -
- The ONLY drawback... the walls are pretty thin. And since the rooms are small your neighbors are bumping into the walls which you can clearly hear. The doors are also very loud. I mean, to be expected in a situation like that so not too disappointed.
- It was small, but that is to be expected in Japan. Regardless of that, everything else was great and I would definitely stay there again.
- This one guy would not a stop clapping when I was going to bed. I think he was tryna turn the lights off in his bed? Great place and employees but be prepared for it being a hostel to the max.

I don’t stay in hostels ever but it was very accommodating towards anyone

Staff was friendly and great location.
Living quarters could have been cleaned more frequently but understand there are many guests coming and going.
The location was great, happy hour was a nice addition. Lots of toilets on each floor and a women’s only toilet section. Bed was comfy enough.
0 space for any bags in your room.
The hostel was extremely clean, and the beds were spacious and super comfy. Great location, and I loved that the LUUP Bikes were stationed right outside the hostel, so it was easy to rent via the app to get around the city.
The check-in is quite late! I wish it was at least at 3pm and not 4pm. I also wish there were more side lamps/spotlights by the bed.
Nice location 20min walk or 10min bus ride to shibuya station
The facilities as a whole were poorly maintained. All the showers on floor 2 were out of order. Thermostat/ heating system was down. Cold night (winter in January) made it uncomfortable to sleep. Based on prior reviews it seems like this place used to be under better management, which is unfortunate :(
The location is close to Shibuya and nightlife. The staff was welcoming. The other guests were nice. The shared toilets and showers were clean.
On our last night some staff and guests were singing karaoke until 6am. I lost a bunch of sleep because of this.
Clsan, nice bar to chill
Bit of a walk to shibuya center
This was the only hostel I visited in my trip to Japan where the staff and common areas managed to cultivate a truly friendly and social vibe. I've stayed in other hostels in Japan where no one except staff would interact or socialize in the common areas. Here, there were always tourists hanging out or chatting over happy hour beers, and it was easy to make a friend to have a drink with. The staff spoke great English and were also good conversationalists. Showers and bathrooms were very clean. My room had a sink and mirror which was appreciated and handy. The bed was comfortable and even the top bunk had charging ports and a small locker built in. The area was quiet enough that I could leave the window cracked for more ventilation and still sleep well.
I booked before other reviews appeared on this topic but they are correct - beware the "Mixed Private Dormitory Room" for 2 people!!! The photos somehow look more spacious, but I could not even close the door with my wheeled suitcase and myself standing in the room - and that's just ONE piece of luggage! I was very lucky that I booked the entire room for just myself, so I could store my luggage on the bottom bunk. There simply wasn't space for two humans and also their stuff. It was not ideal for the end-of-trip repacking and sorting that I wanted a private room for, but I managed, and the value was still good. The walk to Shibuya area was also a little longer than I realized, but it wasn't so bad if you like to walk and there are some good coffee shops on the way.
Super nice, large hostel. Stayed here for a week by myself and was able to have both social nights with others and go to bed early some nights if I wanted to. Shower was nice. Despite 20 minute walk to nearest metro station it was still a nice walk with many restaurants bars and clubs along the way
Long walk to the subway, but still a good location if you want to be close to the nightlife in shibuya.
The property is 1 km from shibuya crossing, is another metro station 500m, really nice area and clean spaces, the staff is the best, all the time trying you have the best time
The bed is big and the location was okay.
Its a bit noisy. Had a hard time to sleep.
It was clean, and the staff was nice. We got the private room, tiny but sufficient. I recommend, it was a good value for the money
It's a little bit further from the touristic points, but that also makes it easier to sleep(shibuya is VERY loud). We didn't like the smell of mold in the room
Location is okay, in a walking distance to shibuya. There's luup in the front door. Staff is friendly.Decoration is nice.Nice cafe on the 1st floor.
The room I booked can accommodate many guests, so it can get a bit noisy sometimes.Need to prepare your own slipper because they allow guest to wear shoes in the room.
I really liked the facilities, cleanliness, and privacy. The included shampoo and shower gel are a great touch, and the curtain each bed has is appreciated.
The washer works well, but the dryer does not dry with one cycle. Even after removing the lint from the filter, your clothes will still need to go through 2 or 3 dryer cycles.
I liked the vibe, lots of solo travelers like me and a great way to interact and meet friends, the place has a chill bar at the lobby to gather up and have a beer.Beds are decently comfy and there’s a locker provided for valuables .About privacy, it’s as much as you’re gonna get from a bunk bed room, the beds have curtains and it’s alright for going to sleep or getting ready . Amenities are awesome, the included laundry machine that will cost you 500 yen in total (+ dryer) is awesome since I don’t have to go around the city looking to get laundry done .
The place is about a 15-20 min walk from shibuya crossing which is decently good access, I just wish it was a little more in the vicinity of a train/subway stop, although it was fine to start my days with 20 min walks, at the end especially when coming back with shopping it would’ve been nice to just arrive to the hotel straight instead of taking a long walk. But price is cheap and other than that it’s a perfectly fine place so I can’t complain :).
Amenities are great and it’s a great vibe for meeting people, there’s a chill bar in the lobby .The laundry machine + dryer will cost you 500 yen per load and it’s great to not have to look around the city for one.Decently close to shibuya crossing
The 20 min walk from the shibuya crossing which/station at the end of days , coming back with shopping / stuff can be annoying after a long day, but for the price I can’t complain.
The staff were lovely and the facilities were good
Location being hilly makes it so hot in summer
